Grandma Johnson came to our school today to perform some experiments with the kids. They talked about matter, molecules, solids, liquids, gas, and much more. The kids even got to create their own model of a water molecule, then they made 'elephant toothpaste'. We had a blast today in the tree house!
We learned how to make stress balls this week! We can squeeze them when we get angry or upset. We also made them for the teachers to help them relax during spring break!

We had a blast today during our first day of spring break. The kiddos explored the many talents they have through a talent show. Some kids made items to go in our Trashin Fashion Show. They used recycled items and made purses, instruments, a rocket ship, jet packs, and many other items that came from their imagination.
We also had a toy wash, which is similar to a car wash. The kids took turns with various jobs. They enjoyed splashing around as they gave the animals a bath!
Overall, the kids had fun playing together, catching up with old friends and making new friends!
Our kids created their own plays and performed them during the unexpected snow days this past week. We love to bring the theater into our classroom. The kids also gain an opportunity to learn theater etiquette.
The kiddos had a great time reading to their friends during read me week. Books were read all throughout the center. Here are some pictures of us reading to each other. We also read Dr.Seuss books and ate green waffles instead of green eggs and ham.
